Ahly failed to make Tunisia's Africi Mohamed Traore, according to the club secretary general Magdy Khalifa.
Khalifa revelaed the reason of the deal failure "Traore wanted to move on a 6-month loan to get used to living in Cairo".
Ahly officials insisted to sign the player for 2 seasons and half, so they reached deadlock.
The Malian striker is going to sign a Libyan club on a 6-month loan, according to Khalifa.
